MATRIX SIGNS ON SAINT GOBAIN AEROSPACE COMPONENTS
Saint Gobain Performance Plastics has expanded its relationship with long time business partner Matrix Technology Ltd to now include its Aerospace Components division. Located in Seattle, Washington, this facility produces thermoformed aerospace structures and components. Products produced in this west coast site include aircraft ducting and a proprietary product called “Dryliner”.
Matrix Technology has acquired the exclusive rights to distribute Dryliner in Canada. Dryliner is a Lexan based material hich undergoes a patented thermoforming process. The sheets of Dryliner are then applied between the aircraft skin and the thermal blankets, enabling aircraft manufacturers and operators to keep moisture away from the blankets.
This thermoforming technology is also employed to produce complex plastic parts for Medical Equipment, Computer Equipment, as well as various aircraft Interior components.

MATRIX TECHNOLOGY PARTNERS WITH GLENAIR
Matrix has expanded its offerings of Glenair Products to include conduit systems, annular convoluted tubing and fitting, turnkey conduit assemblies and connector fittings. Matrix also now carries adapters and transitions, helical convoluted tubing and fittings as well as tubular braid and expandable sleeving.
The Glenair family of products is an excellent fit with Matrix’s impressive line-up of Military/Aerospace Supplier Partners, and will enhance Matrix’s ability to offer a true one stop distribution partner in every stage of the design to production process.
The decision to award Matrix extended access to the Glenair family of products was based on its outstanding performance in securing design wins and ultimately long term contracts with key OEMs in the Canadian Military/Aerospace market.

MATRIX INKS CONTRACT WITH LIGHTHORSE TECHNOLOGIES
Lighthorse Technologies Inc is an RF connector and cable assembly manufacturer located in San Diego, California with factories in Taiwan. Matrix now promotes LTI’s full range of RF connectors with MC Card, MMCX, MCX, SMA, SSMB, SMB, BNC, TNC, N, F, G, Mini UHF, UHF and 7/16 interfaces.
LTI’s connectors and assemblies have a multitude of commercial applications such as cellular phones, wireless LANs, advanced automotive electronics, and satellite and navigation systems.

MATRIX JOINES FORCES WITH LTW
Matrix now carries LTW Connectors, headquartered in Taiwan. LTW specializes in developing, designing several kinds of waterproof connector and cable assemblies. LTW connectors carry CE, UL, and JIS waterproof certification from IP65, IP66, IP67, IP68 and are now moving towards IP69K.
LTW products include Waterproof Circular Connector and Cable Assemblies, Industrial M series, Industrial D-SUB, Waterproof RJ 45, Waterproof USB, Mini Din, BNC, OEM and ODM products and cable assemblies.

FISCHER CONNECTORS PARTNERS WITH MATRIX TECHNOLOGY IN CANADA
Fischer has named Matrix Technology as its new exclusive Canadian
distributor. This action is being taken by Fischer to better serve the fast-growing Canadian customer
base with a local source for inventory, while at the same time, being able to provide strong local
engineering support for our products.
Canadian customers will experience no additional costs to do business through
Matrix. In fact, part of Fischer’s strategic initiative for operating through Matrix, is to control
costs through the introduction of a focused and efficient Canadian partner. Canadian customers now
benefit from a Canadian FOB point and avoid delays caused by border and customs issues.
Matrix Technology has a technical group of sales people which is very capable of
providing assistance for a variety of applications and requirements.

Matrix Technology Ltd is delighted
to announce that it has now entered the electrical/electronic
connector business in Canada. The company, until now, best
known as Canada’s largest distributor of Tyco’s
(Raychem) Interconnect Products and Parker/Chomerics’
EMI/RFI shielding materials, has expanded its offerings
to include Mil. Spec. Circular and Hi- Rel Industrial Connectors.
Matrix’s family of new Connector Partners includes
such outstanding manufacturers as DDK, Tyco Corp.,
Glenair, Harting, Astron Electronics, Conxall, and Yamaichi.
Matrix’s strategy has been expanded to now encompass
the complete offering of every component on the wiring harness,
including connectors, further enhancing our position as
the premier supplier of interconnect components and materials
to the Canadian Aerospace, Transportation and Industrial
marketplaces. Connectors broaden the already impressive
list of wire harness components traditionally supplied by
Matrix Technology Ltd. such as heat shrinkable tubing and
molded parts, solder devices, sleevings, backshells, wire
and cable and conduit.
To best serve our customers with the shortest possible
lead times and the most competitive pricing, we have also
committed to doing in-house connector assembly and custom
modification in our ISO certified Markham, Ont. manufacturing
facility.
In keeping with Matrix’s traditional strength which
is derived from our highly focused engineering approach
to the marketplace, we have hired Kevin Hawley, formerly
of Electrosonic to form the foundation of Matrix’s core connector
expertise.
