Saint Gobain Performance Plastics has expanded its relationship with long time business partner Matrix Technology Ltd to now include its Aerospace Components division. Located in Seattle, Washington, this facility produces thermoformed aerospace structures and components. Products produced in this west coast site include aircraft ducting and a proprietary product called “Dryliner”.
Matrix Technology has acquired the exclusive rights to distribute Dryliner in Canada. Dryliner is a Lexan based material hich undergoes a patented thermoforming process. The sheets of Dryliner are then applied between the aircraft skin and the thermal blankets, enabling aircraft manufacturers and operators to keep moisture away from the blankets.
This thermoforming technology is also employed to produce complex plastic parts for Medical Equipment, Computer Equipment, as well as various aircraft Interior components.
Please see the Saint Gobain Dryliner Website for product specs.

Chomerics Soft Shield 4800 is the newest member of our family of foam based EMI product solutions. The Z-axis conductivity of this product will allow it to compete effectively with rival conductive foams and fully wrapped gaskets where compartmental shielding is required.
Soft Shield 4800 product technology is based in the precise integration of electrically conductive (silver plated) fibres into an open cell urethane foam matrix. The optimization of conductive fibre construction, loading and dispersion within the foam provide the basis for Soft Shield 4800’s superb electrical (z-axis) and mechanical properties.
This product is manufactured in continuous roll form which permits Matrix to offer low cost finished parts converted on its high speed cutting equipment.
